Rick Plester Bio

Rick Plester is a producer and touring guitarist living in Los Angeles the past 15 years. To date, he has been involved in 112 records, including The Scorpions;James Kottak, Michael Schenker, George Lynch, and many others major acts.

 

Rick is the founding member of International recording artists, Black Symphony, and for several years was the guitarist in WWIII. He also filled in briefly with friends Kottak.

 

Ricks great chops and inspirational vision in song writing help him create his own unique style of rock music, with some magazine writers have called him a true genius. Rick also won the LA Guitars Wars and several Canadian guitar wars contests.

 

Rick has just finished his debut instrumental record, and produced two high budget videos in support of the release. The self-titled CD will be available in early Spring, 2010.

 

Before Rick's music career, he was a Pro Hockey player (goalie) for several years, both in Ice Hockey and Roller Hockey. When his hockey and music careers began to overlap, he picked music.

 

Rick has also written music for ABC, NBC, ESPN, FOX, FOR SPORTS. and The NHL.
