Designed & developed with one of the world’s most influential guitar players, the new MTS KH series was created to produce each tube tone of Kirk’s illustrious career. Known for using multiple amps to create his signature sound, we developed the RM100KH with Kirk to encompass his signature clean (KH1), rhythm (KH2) and hi-gain (KH3) lead tones.

Kirk Hammett Signature Modules

KH1

Based on Kirk’s classic clean tones, the voicing of this preamp is based on various clean amps that Kirk has used throughout his illustrious career. A great clean tone for any style, but tailored for rock and metal because it stays clean at higher volumes even with active pickups.

KH2

Based on Kirk’s signature rhythm tone, the KH2 instantly becomes a classic because of its extreme wide-range of tones. This mid to hi-gain preamp is perfect for any classic rock and metal tone and for that early Metallica rhythm tone.

KH3

Based on Kirk’s legendary hi-gain lead tone, this preamp takes the KH2 to a higher level of gain and sustain. Utilizing the same tone circuit as the KH2, the KH3 is tailored more for the modern rock and metal guitarist who demands a high level of gain.

KH Series

Introducing the new KH120RHS stack and the smaller but mighty KH15 practice amp. Kirk made it very clear from the start that he wanted to develop a full line of amplifiers that would provide fans his signature tone at any price point. Built using the same tone circuit as Kirk’s MTS head, the new KH120RHS half stack includes the 120 watt KH120RH head and KH412 cabinet with Celestion 50 watt speakers. A perfect stack for the serious up and comer, the KH120RH head has dual Gain stages for added
versatility and has enough power to cut thru any mix.

The KH15 is equipped with a Clean, Overdrive and Boost mode and is the perfect practice amp for both the professional and beginning guitarist.
