During the development of the new V2 and T2 amplifiers, several ground breaking discoveries allowed us to narrow in on several key factors and obvious differences as to why tube power reacts and feels so much differently than a traditional solid-state power amp. Those discoveries resulted, as you’ll soon hear, in the groundbreaking “Valve-Dynamic™” circuit.
Due to our newly designed Tube driven Mosfet power section called Valve-Dynamic™, these amps now clip extremely soft with a natural compression when pushed reacting much like a standard power tube. However, because the frequency response of a standard power tube has very unique characteristics, we put an immense amount of R&D into emulating and capturing that response curve to develop a new power circuit and ultimately an entire amp line with true tube feel, dynamics, & tone.
